Product Manager Engineer - OES

We are looking to hire a Product Manager Engineer OES to join our team at Tlaquepaque.




  • The OES product manager is responsible for the commercialization of OES steering products including, but not limited to: service parts, service units and remanufactured units
  • Manage product lifecycle with special focus on Start-of-Production (SOP), End-of-Production (EOP) and End-of-Service-Obligation (EOSO) to ensure stable supply and profitability throughout the product life cycle
  • Work with Account Management on profitability as it relates to leakers and bleeders as well as transitions out of warranty period and end of service obligation.
  • Maintains local-global PM/data alignment for OES parts and services
  • Coordination of any quality-related remediation requirements (e.g. campaigns, recalls, TREAD Act)
  • Leads OES service readiness initiatives
  • Keeps up-to-date competitive, market and customer information to guide strategic direction of the product portfolio
  • Develops product lifecycle strategy to ensure customer support and inventory management demands are met
  • Adds necessary support to New Business Opportunities and following Business Cases to properly assess new business including OES 2 opportunities.
  • Complies with ZF Antitrust Policy
  • Performs all other tasks as necessitated by the business



  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, project management or engineering program management
  • Technical aptitude within braking products
  • Experience with SAP
  • Advanced level Excel Skills
  • Experience leading projects
  • Engineer Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Bilingual
