Wanted profile: Automotive System Expert to evolve as Cybersecurity Expert

 

The Product Line Cybersecurity Expert is responsible for the creation, tailoring and planning of specific cybersecurity work packages  according to the cybersecurity engineering process, as well as supporting the development team in the implementation and verification of the cybersecurity controls.

 

 

 

Main tasks:

  • Lead cyber security activities in projects in compliance with ISO 21434, UNECE WP.29, and cyber security engineering processes (CEP) in collaboration with the development team
  • Lead Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) in collaboration with other functional engineers, and lead the team for TARA updates
  • Ensure that the cybersecurity analyses are performed according to the cybersecurity plan
  • Derive cybersecurity requirements at concept and system level ensuring consistency with the outputs of the cybersecurity analyses
  • Approve the cybersecurity deliveries technical content according to review type and assignment
  • Support project members to independently conduct cybersecurity activities;
  • Support cybersecurity incidents as appropriate
  • Support the implementation and evaluation of Business Units (BUs) own cybersecurity enabled manufacturing lines
  • Ensure adequate execution of cybersecurity testing of the products within the assigned projects according to customer requirements and ZF internal requirements
  • Interface 3rd party for the independent cybersecurity testing of the products according to customer requirements and ZF internal requirements
  • Escalate project-based security issues or anomalies, as needed
  • Provide technical interface to customer 

 

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in e.g. Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics or equivalent
  • Good analytical reasoning, problem solving skills and ability to understand complex systems
  • Good planning and organizing abilities
  • Initiative, dedication, attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge on electronics engineering environment and manufacturing principles and processes in Automotive field
  • Previous experience as a System Engineer, Functional Safety Engineer or other technical roles in Automotive field
  • Knowledge on Automotive Cybersecurity concepts
  • Creative problem-solver, with ability to think beyond the obvious
  • Team player, able to adapt in a fast-changing, agile business environment
