About the location:
We are ZF R&D Tech Center in Romania. Our presence in Automotive R&D market in Timisoara begun in 2007 when we started as BeeSpeed – Timisoara Engineering Center having a strong partnership with ZF Group along this journey. What you can look forward to as Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) :
• Deriving hardware requirements from system requirements
• Designing hardware (i.e. PCB (printed circuit board) layouts, ECAD (electric-CAD), packaging, interconnections)
• Hardware development/ maintenance for Hardware-in-the-Loop test rigs in the automotive area
• Microcontrollers and Microprocessors programming
• Testing hardware components and products
• Support the continuous improvement of the processes installed in the team
• Work on multiple projects in distributed team across different locations
Your profile as Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) :
• Bachelor degree (related to electrical or electronic engineering, embedded SW,controls, mechanical engineering, computer science, physics)
• Knowledge of Passive/ Active components, Amplifiers/Configurations, Converters/Inverters, Digital Circuits, Microcontrollers & Microprocessors
• Knowledge of PCB design tools (KiCAD,Eagle,etc.); Microcontroller and Microprocessors programming languages
• Knowledge of measurement devices (Multimeter, Oscilloscope) and how to work with a solder station and solder extraction station
• It will be considered an advantage if the candidate has experience in the following
areas: Vector tools knowledge / Bus systems (CAN, FlexRay, LIN); Diagnostic protocols; Sensors monitoring and actuators controlling; C / Python / Matlab programming; Experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop test environments (dSPACE)
• Good understanding / high interest for automotive systems
• Creativity, initiative, understanding / communication / reaction to issues, good teamwork in virtual environments, ability to learn by doing. Analytical skills, learning capacity and good communications skills in English
• Availability to travel. Ability to work independently, self-discipline, reliability,
consistency
