Quality Method Engineer

ZF Wind Power develops, together with its partners, unique gearbox designs and services to guarantee the highest quality at competitive costs. We are looking for a new colleague, Quality Method Engineer at our location of Tianjin, China.

What you look forward to as Quality Method Engineer:

• Quality assurance, tasks as: New product development; Quality planning, define inspection method and equipment; Risk evaluation and quality control (FMEA, Control Plan, inspection plan); Measurement system evaluation and improvement; Sample gearbox verification on time and feedback to PE and production; NC handling and verify improvement action effectiveness; As a member of ECR activity and on time finish his tasks.
• Series product monitor, tasks as: Risk evaluation and quality control (FMEA & Control plan); Create the quality guarantee document (quality requirement instruction, measurement technology instruction, quality record sheet, audit sheet); NC product handling and as QB stock owner to push relevant department in time handle NC parts; Monitor product quality stability, monthly share Quality KPI & result with cross functional team and join in production process verify activities; Continuously improve work effectiveness; And, as a member of ECR activity and on time finish his tasks; As team leader to lead important quality events. Monthly join in BPT meeting to improve GBX/PTR quality standardization work; and take the dedicated quality works assigned by the Quality Manager.
• Standardization, tasks as: Quarterly review and standardize safety work WI; Regularly review GBX/PTR quality procedure and WI (1 time / half year), standardize to the latest version based on actual status; Quarterly update inspection plan based on actual performance.

Your Profile as Quality Method Engineer:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (priority on mechanical engineering and automation). Workable English and Mandarin in speaking and writing.
• Experience: total more than 3 years work experience in manufacturing environment, better 1 year work experience in gearbox assembly & test quality. Has solid practise experiences with quality tools (APQP/ PPAP/ MSA/ SPC/ PFMEA/ 8D), learn by doing. Has Analytical and systematic thinking, factual based. Be familiar with QMS (ISO9001) audit/ VDA6.3/ VDA6.5, all about customer audit related.
• Technical Competencies & Skills: Has product knowledge, mainly focus on gearbox/PTR level, including customer interface related kits, optional in component level. Has Process knowledge, mainly focus on gearbox/PTR assembly and testing process, even further application. Optional in machined component manufacturing and measuring process, understand 4M1E. Be familiar with relevant machine and instrument in gearbox level. Be familiar with calibration.
• Role model in team development, coach and stand with others, closed loop follow up.
• Skillful in multiple function coordination, never give up. Has presentation skills: Learn by doing, practise with global team.
