Test Technician (Validation, Physical Testing)

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a mechanical-related field and at least 3 years of experience in testing or development activities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic/Intermediate English knowledge is a plus. Ability to work in a cross-functional group environment.
• Knowledge of measurement techniques, hydraulics, metallurgy, and capability to read and understand technical specifications. Solid experience with measurement equipment.
• Hands on experience about mechanical tools and machining process.
• Turkish native or bilingual, living, or willing to live in Asian side of Istanbul or Kocaeli (Gebze & Izmit) and no military obligation for male candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing products for safety, capacities, compliance, and performance. Maintaining the test bench activities (error diagnostics, analysis, rectification of test facility)
• Making appropriate installation of test specimen on test rigs. Inspection of the components before assembly. Maintaining test conditions complying with occupational health and safety.
• Collaborate in project teams and other functional departments.
• Carrying out various technical studies on shock absorbers & components in R&D workshop. 
• Performing dimensional measurements, handling basic performance evaluations by means of test machines and solve technical problems in product development testing.
