About the team

The ADAS team is part of the Application Engineering division within CVS (Commercial Vehicle Solutions) R&D. The team is responsible for developing and optimizing advanced driver assistance systems to meet customer requirements and enhance safety and comfort for commercial vehicles.

 

What you can look forward to as System Engineer:

  • Planning and implementation of system integration tasks according to ASPICE and product development process in an interdisciplinary, international team as well as recording and clarifying internal and external requirements for the project
  • Derivation of system design and system integration requirements in coordination with system architects, FUSA and cyber security managers
  • Support of integration and test activities on test vehicles on the in-house test site and at customers' sites
  • Review of qualification test cases, monitoring of the tests and evaluation of the results to improve system performance
  • Definition and evaluation of field tests, creation of field test reports and release notes for the release of the system

 

Your profile as System Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Commercial Vehicle Technology, or a comparable field
  • Experience in developing technical systems in the automotive industry according to ASPICE and PEP processes
  • Knowledge of agile process methods such as SCRUM (preferred)
  • Practical experience with sensors such as radar or camera, especially in driver assistance systems (preferred)
  • Experience using requirements management tools such as PTC Integrity® or Rational DOORS® (preferred)
  • Experience designing system architectures using Enterprise Architect® (preferred)
  • Practical experience with analysis tools such as Vector CANalyzer® and CANape® (preferred)
  • Good communication skills in Japanese and English; independent, systematic, and analytical working style; strong teamwork and innovation mindset; proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
