Job Description

About the Team: Join ZF Hebron's Quality team to engage with both internal and external suppliers to support ZF's global team. The ZF Hebron site is responsible for assembling and distributing braking systems for our Commercial Vehicle Solutions division. 

 

What you can look forward to as a Supplier Quality Engineer: 

  • Drive supplier quality improvement to achieve Zero defect at site level
  • Validate supplier’s claim quick response implementation in less than 24h via official claims system;(valid for C1/C2/C3)
  • Validate supplier’s claim action plan implementation in less than 10 days via official claims system (valid for C1/C2/C3)
  • Monitor supplier performance and supplier part quality
  • Lead yearly requalification plan with suppliers
  • Drive continuous improvement process (CIP) 
  • Proactively initiate actions or initiatives at supplier to support target achievement

 

Your profile as a Supplier Quality Engineer:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related filed
  • 3 years of experience working in quality
  • Automotive experience in a matrix environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment 
  • SAP warehouse experience preferred
  • Knowledge of APQP, SAP, manufacturing processes, quality tools, and root cause analysis preferred
