We are reinforcing our System House Vehicle Motion Controls Team at our location in Stemwede-Dielingen, Friedrichshafen, Coblenz or Dusseldorf
Your tasks as Safety Engineering Expert (m/w/d):
- Lead of development for workpackages according to ISO26262 in the concept and product phase (Item Definition, HARA, FuSaCo, TeSaCo, SW Safety Concept)
- Implementation and monitoring of safety mechanism up to ASIL D systems
- Execution and support of system and software verifications for the evidence of the safety case (Test, Review, Analysis)
- Alignment of the created documents with all stakeholders
- Close Collaboration with the partner teams of Verification, System- and Software-Development
Your profile as Safety Engineering Expert (m/w/d):
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in engineering with focus on vehicle engineering, controls engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science or equal
- Advanced Knowledge in functional safety (ISO 26262) as well as in the system and software engineering environment
- Knowledge in the ASPICE software development base practices beneficial, knowledge in systems and software engineering as well experience in writing requirements with IBM DOORS and preferably also with CodeBeamer
- Knowledge in model-based development, Matlab, Simulink, Targetlink and Enterprise Architect beneficial
- Fluent English language skills, german would be a benefit and ability to work independently with a distinct „hands-on“ mentality
