We are reinforcing our System House Vehicle Motion Controls Team at our location in Stemwede-Dielingen, Friedrichshafen, Coblenz or Dusseldorf 

Your tasks as Function Development Engineer - Performance Driving (m/w/d): 

• Model based functional development of a chassis control software and development of driving dynamic relevant controllers 
• Analysis of customer requirements
• Creation and implementation of innovative control solutions with Matlab Simulink
• Virtual and in vehicle test of developed software and in vehicle tuning of developed SW on worldwide test tracks
• Discussion of software control strategies with internal/external customers as well as discussion of software interfaces with several chassis actuators

Your profile as Function Development Engineer - Performance Driving (m/w/d):

• Successfully completed university degree in engineering with focus on vehicle engineering, controls engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or equal
• Advanced knowledge in driving dynamics, vehicle tuning and vehicle simulation as well as knowledge in model based development, Matlab, Simulink, Targetlink and AUTOSAR
• Knowledge in functional safety (ISO 26262) as well as in the system and software engineering environment and ASPICE software development base practices would be beneficial 
• Knowledge of Microsoft DevOps and future vehicle SW architectures would be beneficial
• Fluent English language skills (german would be a benefit) as well as willingness to travel and ability to work independently
