Head of Treasury (m/f/d)

We are looking for a new colleague in our department "Chassis Systems & Modules" at our location in Stemwede-Dielingen.
Your tasks:
- Reviewing financial statements and reports for accuracy, including analyzing trends in revenue sources and expenses over time as well as monitoring cash flow forecasts to ensure that adequate cash reserves are maintained to meet company obligations, such as payroll or vendor payments
- Monitoring interest rate risks by reviewing interest rate contracts to ensure that the company will be able to meet future payment obligations as well as preparing budgets for operating departments within the organization, including capital expenditures and operating costs, based on expected revenue
- Coordinating with outside investment managers to determine how much money should be invested in different types of assets such as stocks, bonds, real estate, or private equity as well as reviewing and approving loan applications from customers seeking loans from banks or other lending institutions
- Working with accounting staff to ensure that accounting records are accurately maintained and that all financial transactions are properly recorded as well as making strategic decisions regarding how much cash should be held in reserve to meet unexpected expenses or fluctuations in income
- Developing and implementing treasury policies and procedures to ensure that all financial activities are conducted in accordance with company standards
Your Profile:
- Successfully finished university in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
- Several years of progressively responsible treasury management experience as well as strong financial acumen and knowledge of financial processes
- Automotive/product-based industry experience preferred as well as willingness to travel
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, to work under pressure and show evidence of creative thinking as well as the ability to handle complex problems in a timely manner
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are required as well as fluent English and German language skills
