Industrial Placement Student - ADAS Hardware Design (m/f/d)

We are reinforcing our ADAS Team by offering a 12 Month Student Placement in Shirley (Solihull) from September 2020. You will be involved in electronics analysis, design and testing on new radar designs.


Your tasks:

  • Analyse customer requirements to determine changes / features needed on existing and new designs
  • Create bills of materials for prototype, development and production builds
  • Perform hardware testing, record results, ensure sample documentation is kept up to date
  • Debugging of hardware and proposal solutions to resolve issues and concerns
  • Collaborate with teams located in the UK, France and Germany


Your profile: 

  • Student (m/f/d) who has completed two years of a degree in electronics, looking for a 1 year placement focussing on electronics hardware design
  • Excellent digital and analogue electronics design skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn new skills and highly organised with attention to detail
  • Confident to present ideas, status reports, and participate in design discussions / presentations either face-to-face and on Skype/telephone
  • Excellent communication skills in English
