Software Test Engineer - EMB

We are looking for a new colleague in the Software Department for our Active Safety Division.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze software requirements, designs, and architecture, development of software test specifications, and execution of software tests using automated and manual hardware in a the loop test environments.
  • Apply the appropriate software test standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software test cycle.
  • Requires the necessary communication, planning, and coordination skills to manage Test Cycles on critical ZF projects.
  • Take a “systems view” and exhibit troubleshooting skills in the laboratory.
  • Apply software development skills to the development and maintenance of automated test tools.
  • Interfacing with software developers, offshore and European partners, test tool suppliers, OEM customers and other technical and support personnel as required.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, Computer Science required; Master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience of working knowledge of C/C++ as well as the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with embedded software development
  • Ability to integrate software with target hardware in a lab environment
