About the Team

The Smart Factory / CIM team supports the manufacturing operation through digitalization, automation, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. The team works closely with production, engineering, IT, quality, maintenance, and other internal areas to develop digital tools that improve visibility, efficiency, and decision-making on the shop floor. As part of this team, the intern will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while supporting dashboards, internal applications, process improvements, and Industry 4.0 projects.

What you can look forward to as Smart Factory Intern:

• Support the Smart Factory / CIM team in digitalization and continuous improvement projects for the production floor.
• Assist in the development, update, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and internal digital tools.
• Collaborate in projects using tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Excel, and other Microsoft platforms.
• Support basic data analysis, documentation, testing, and implementation activities for digital manufacturing solutions.
• Work with internal users to understand process needs and help translate them into simple digital or automation solutions.
• Participate in initiatives related to Industry 4.0, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and process optimization.
• Gain practical experience in a plant environment while collaborating with areas such as production, engineering, IT, maintenance, and quality.

Your Profile as Smart Factory Intern:

• Active student in advanced semesters of Software Engineering, Computer Systems, Mechatronics, Electronics, IT, or a related field.
• Must have at least one year remaining before graduation and be available to participate in the internship for a minimum period of one year.
• Availability to work on site from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Parque Finsa.
• Intermediate English level is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages, databases, or application development concepts.
• Experience or academic knowledge in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar digital tools is desirable.
• Interest in digitalization, automation, data analysis, Industry 4.0, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, analytical, and collaborative profile with willingness to learn, communicate with different areas, and support multiple tasks.
