Job Description

About the team:

The Smart Factory Engineering team (CIM department) focuses on designing and implementing advanced automation solutions to enhance manufacturing processes. The team collaborates cross-functionally with product planning, quality, operations, procurement, and suppliers to introduce new technologies, improve efficiency, and ensure high standards in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

 

 

What you can look forward to as Smart Factory Engineer:

  • Design and develop automated manufacturing and testing equipment for new product introduction and capacity growth
  • Program and troubleshoot robotic cells, PLCs, and control systems
  • Improve manufacturing processes using automation, Industry 4.0, and data-driven techniques
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to deliver innovative production solutions
  • Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and DOE principles to enhance process performance
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to tools, materials, and processes
  • Support production networks, system integration, and data management
  • Drive continuous improvement of process capability (Cpk) and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)

 

 

Your Profile as Smart Factory Engineer:

  • Mechatronics, Electronic, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering
  • More than 3 years of experience as an Automation Engineer
  • Siemens PLCs, HMI
  • SQL programming and Data Acquisition Systems, IT networks
  • Must have project planning skills to prioritize tasks and establish frameworks and systems to manage areas of responsibility
  • English proficiency (minimum 75%)
  • Analysis, identification, and correction of errors with the involvement of internal/external IT departments
  • Creation and adaptation of simple control programs and automation solutions related to production IT systems
