Trademark Licensing Development Specialist
We're looking for a new colleague to join ZF Aftermarket Division at our location in Shanghai.
Your tasks:
- Develop: Drive growth of royalty income in China through recruitment of new licensees and development of existing licensees
- Measure, optimize & drive growth: Monitor & analyze results to develop insights, leverage learning and make recommendations to increase sales of Lucas products in China.
- Brand Foundations: Maintain and govern usage of all Licensed brands, specifically Lucas. Maintain Brand Standards, to be used as Mandatory Guidelines to ensure consistent execution of brand identity, visibility and market position.
- Brand Governance: Ensure that the brand is consistently represented and protected across all owned, earned & paid channels and touchpoints, by sticking clearly to Brand guidelines and ensuring that Trademark Registrations across the correct product classes and markets are in place. Ultimately this builds Brand Equity and Brand Health in the medium to long-term.
- Build Capability: Educate the organization. Create materials to educate the organization the Brand Licensing model and where it may best be deployed.
- Standardize: Create Best practice standards for all brand Licensing processes. Document to codify expectations and enable easy access and thus consistent application, at all times, on licensed brands in all markets.
Your profile:
- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience in Managing licensing agreements (preferred);Proven experience in negotiating and concluding commercial agreements at senior management level
- Fluent in executing Brand Licensing Guidelines
- Customer-centric attitude based on outside-in perspective and strong knowledge of market and customers
- Experience in cross functional project management;Experience in applying agile working methods
- Advanced stakeholder management skill, excellent ability to influence without authority and to collaborate across multiple markets / cultures
- Experience in critical thinking and ability to create insights from data and strategic recommendations from insights.
- Fluency in English is a must, proficiency in any other languages a great plus
