Testing Engineer

We are looking for a new colleague of Testing Engineer for our Division C PL CC at our location ZF Holdings, Jiuting, Shanghai.
Your Task
-
Main Objective: Ensure a reliable product testing and reporting for safety critical chassis components. Maintain the organizations IATF16949 Certificate status and organize all activities within applicable internal or external procedures. (e.g. Compliance regulations) and align all activities acc. to the latest ZF Strategy.

Manage daily testing tasks on functional test rigs, hydraulic test rigs, sealability test rigs and other equipment according to test specifications.

Carefully evaluate incoming Test Requests for errors and plausibility and discuss deviations or concerns with the requestor.

Create test plan (DVP/PVP) according to SOR, drawing and test specifications. Supervision of Test Technicians to ensure the test results are accurate and valid. Perform test result analysis and prepare a detailed documentation. 5S: Maintain cleanliness and order within the Test Lab and Office in cooperation with the Test team. Keep all Tools and Equipment in a good safe working condition at all time.

Design and procure required fixtures.

Outsource time critical Tests within the international ZF Test facility network or 3rd party resources if necessary.

Close contact with German headquarter for technical support and general procedures.

Nurture customer satisfaction by providing reliable high quality results within the given time constraints.

Analyze of redelivered parts from customer car and rig testing.

Optimization of testing procedures and testing methods.
Your Profile
-
Bachelor or master’s in mechanical engineering or vehicle engineering or material science. Min. 3 years in test experience within automotive component business, knowledge about passenger car requirement, in materials, hydraulic systems. Know-how in the context of mechatronic (automotive) and or plastic products.

Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing ability. German/Korean/Japanese would be a big plus but not mandatory.

Efficient application of Microsoft Office software and CAD software. Strong hands-on ability, familiar with commonly used hand and power tools.

Good communication and coordination skills. Flexibility concerning short-notice changes in requirements and priorities. Willingness to engage with new problems and tasks. Learning Agility and has teamwork spirit. Ability to work in team and within an intercultural environment. Availability for international business travel.
