Technical Project Management Engineer

About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in R&D Center at our location in Jiading, Shanghai.

What you can look forward to as a Technical Project Management Engineer:

• Create the Project Charter and get it approved
• Determine the scope on project level and define the project life cycle
• Set up the project organization and manage communication interfaces on project level
• Kick off the project and inform all relevant stakeholders about the project goals and objectives
• Ensure the feasibility and the consistency of information and data on project level
• Create and maintain the Project Management Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, and Schedule on project level
• Manage effort and cost estimates, skills and knowledge of project team members, and resources for the project
• Plan the activities, deliverables, and milestones on project level
• Monitor and control work packages and deliverables on project level
• Manage risks and problems/issues on project level
• Report the progress and status on project level
• Plan and order prototype samples and components for internal and external stakeholders
• Initiate the system release and perform the gate release
• Perform the identification and documentation of lessons learned
• Close the project and ensure that all work products are archived as defined in the stakeholder requirements

Your Profile as a Technical Project Management Engineer:

• 3+ year's professional experience specifically related to automotive industry. Experience on EPS is a plus.
• Bachelor degree or above in automotive engineering, electrical Engineering, mechanical engineering, control engineering, software engineering or other related areas.
• Experience in multi-domains (i.e. software, electronics, electric motors, controls, sensors, mechanics).
• Experience in the usage of relevant project, organizational, and office tools 
• Ability to work with both global and virtual teams, build critical skills and develop key talent
• Excellent communication skills and leadership
• Knowledge of automotive norms (e.g. ISO26262, IATF 16949) and standards (e.g. ASPICE)
• Fluent spoken and written English (oversea experience is a plus)
• Experience with lifecycle management tools (Integrity) is a plus
• Background on EPS system design is a plus
