About the Team

We are Division Commercial Vehicle Solutions, we are currently expanding our innovation team and looking for new innovators joining us in Shanghai.

What you can look forward to as a System Functions Developer Product Innovation:

• Innovate and prototype ADAS functions with a focus on safety, performance, and user experience
  Analyze use cases for commercial vehicle, create functional requirements and test specifications based on demand and developed targets 
• Generate the ideas and concepts of system (incl. sensors, actuation, processor, …) according to the requirements, develop the relevant systems and functions
• Design and implement software using SOA principles considering constraints in middleware, IPC, and virtualization layers
  Integrate and validate functions on Domain Control Units (DCU/ADCU) within EEA frameworks in lab or on vehicle
• Collaborate with perception teams to enhance side and rear perception using wide-angle and distorted-view cameras, scalable BEV+Transformer, and improved CNN architectures; interface with hardware teams to optimize use of sensors (radar, LiDAR, camera), SoCs, AI accelerators, GPUs, MCUs, and memory components
• Ensure compliance with global and regional ADAS regulations and standards (e.g., AEB, LDW, NCAP, GSR, SOTIF, ISO 26262, Cybersecurity, OTA)
• Generate patents for protection of innovative solutions in close cooperation with Patent Engineer, co-operate with external development partners and suppliers, and guide suppliers in pre-development projects

Your profile as a System Functions Developer Product Innovation:

• Master’s degree or above majored in mechanical / electronic / automotive engineering etc., PhD is a plus
• Minimum 3 years working experience in automotive product engineering, experience of advanced engineering or pre-development, i.e. demonstrated capability of development of system or function from concept to prototype validation, is a plus
• Proven experience in at least one of the targeted functions (e.g., AEB, ACC, LCC, parking, highway assist, narrow road & junction assist, highway NOA, urban NOA)
• Good knowledge of commercial vehicle system, new energy vehicle, J1939 and vehicle E&E architecture and good knowledge in sensor, signal processing, data analysis and algorithm development is a plus
• Experience in SOA architecture, middleware (functional & common), IPC, hypervisors, and virtualization is a plus
• Experience with CNN, BEV+Transformer and E2E/VLA in industry and exposure to multi-sensor fusion and real-time system optimization is a plus
• Strong team player with analytical and problem-solving skills, and extended communication skills at all levels together with fluent English
• Energetic, highly self-motivated, and detail-oriented with international mindset, naturally inquisitive & passionate about innovations and future technologies and with great awareness of dynamic plan and risk in frontier exploration
