About the Team

This position is part of the ZF ADAS & HPC business unit known internally as "Capri." This business unit is planned for divestiture to Harman International, a Samsung company and global innovator in automotive technology, presenting a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter in the ADAS space.

What you can look forward to as Supplier Development Engineer-Software:

• Ensure development activities comply with engineering processes and quality systems (e.g., ASPICE).
• Assess supplier capabilities, including: Software engineering capability, Cybersecurity practices (e.g., threat analysis, vulnerability management), Process maturity and quality standards, Support supplier shortlisting and technical reviews.
• Conduct regular reviews of supplier work products, including: Technical design, Test results, Risk and issue analysis, Ensure deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria.
• Ensure software development complies with: Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), Cybersecurity standards, Support audits and supplier assessments.
• Track supplier issues (e.g., open item lists) until closure, Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions, Drive continuous improvement plans for suppliers.

Your Profile as Supplier Development Engineer-Software:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC / V-cycle).
• Experience in automotive software or embedded systems, familiarity with ASPICE or similar process frameworks.
• Experience working with suppliers or outsourcing teams.
• Knowledge of: Functional Safety (ISO 26262), Cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434).
• Strong cross-team communication skills, ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Quality-oriented mindset, structured and process-driven thinking, risk identification and mitigation capability.
