Supplier Development Engineer

We're looking for a new colleague to join ZF Aftermarket at our location in Xuhui, Shanghai.

 

Your tasks:

  • New supplier audit: Execute on-site process audit for new potential supplier by working closely with cross-functional team, such as: Purchasing, PE, quality and etc., according to company purchasing strategy and project plan;
  • Annual supplier audit: Assist in department leader to compile annual supplier audit plan by taking comprehensively consideration into supplier’s performance and company’s purchasing strategy, Execute on-site process audit accordingly;
  • Supplier performance management: Closely working with the relevant Domain-SDEs. Following up supplier’s performance monthly, pushing top 5 problematic suppliers take corrective actions and follow up its effectiveness;
  • Supplier development: According to supplier’s performance and audit findings, providing some trainings if it is necessary, for example: 8D and PPAP etc., actively develop those suppliers to our expected level;
  • Launch Readiness audit: Carrying out on-site LRA audit to ensure smooth delivers during serial production for some critical parts, for example: Braking pads, braking disc, shocks and etc.;
  • Supplier escalation management: If it is necessary, leading escalation management L2 according to ZF escalation management procedure;
  • Audit document management: Upload relevant audit documents into ZMAS in timely manner to ensure it is completion;
  • Others: Other tasks assigned by leader;

 

Your profile:

  • Certified VDA6.3 QMC auditor is a mandatory, Certified PMP & Certified blue belt of 6 sigma is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949quality system, Familiar with AIAG core tools, such as: APQP, PFMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, 8D and etc.,
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially for heat treatment, welding, machining, assembly, Certified CQI-9/15 is a plus;
  • Min 3-5 years supplier management experiences in Auto. Industry,
  • Good team work;
  • English: English can be a working language;
  • Education: Bachelor;
  • Flexible for extensive travels;
