About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in R&D Center at our location in Caohejing, Shanghai.

 

What you can look forward to as a Supplier Development Engineer:

  • Lead Supplier Quality Development Activities: Drive supplier readiness, qualification, and release processes to ensure suppliers meet quality and delivery requirements for power module programs.
  • Manage APQP and New Product Launches: Execute APQP, PPAP, Safe Launch, and other quality planning activities with suppliers to support successful product industrialization.
  • Conduct Supplier Quality Assessments and Risk Management: Perform drawing reviews, technical reviews, process audits (VDA 6.3), Run@Rate assessments, and risk evaluations to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  • Support Supplier Selection and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and project teams on supplier selection, performance improvement, and quality enhancement initiatives.

 

Your Profile as a Supplier Development Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with at least 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, Manufacturing, or Quality Management.
  • Familiarity with power semiconductor products such as IGBT, SiC, IPM, and related manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and other automotive quality management tools and methodologies.
  • Fluent English communication skills, strong teamwork and stakeholder management capabilities, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
