Sr. Customer Quality Engineer

We are currently expanding our Quality team and looking for new colleagues who will join our team at our location in Jiading, Shanghai.

 

Your tasks:

 

  • Interpret specifications for products to determine performance requirements in order to meet and/or exceed customer expectations
  • Participate in Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Design Validation (DV), Production Validation (PV) and process launch teams.
  • Create and maintain documentation for product/process change management.
  • Assess effectiveness of plant-wide quality systems including training for ongoing improvements.
  • Implement and maintain quality systems.
  • Work closely with customer representatives and insure that major customer complaints are resolved.
  • Apply verbal and written communications skills in periodic and special reports/presentations both internally and with customers.
  • Analyze data to detect quality problems and recommend corrective action.
  • Conduct and develop preventative programs to reduce defects in major quality control areas.
  • Analytical problem solving, team building, and decision making skills

 

Your profile:

 

  • Bilingual in Chinese and English.
  • Analytical problem solving, team building, and decision making skills (Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
  • Out Spoken personality, good interpersonal and team player skills.
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9002 and QS9000.
