About the Team
We are looking for a new colleague in sales team at our location in Shanghai.
What you can look forward to as Sr. Commercial Manager:
- Quote management: Implement best practice quote process across Divs within AP. Execute, manage, evaluate and report to AP management on all Quotes, & key quote process KPIs. Track input from other departments and set prioritization if necessary. Ensure conformance to guidelines/checklists for increased quality of quote process, detail of quote & quote letter.
- Profitability management: Drive customer profitability tracking within sales from quote baseline through pre-launch and into production. Work closely with regional finance profitability team to analyze and report results quarterly to AP management. Work with sales accounts to identify & improve where necessary.
- Claim management: Drive Claim mgt through best practice global tools. Collaborate with COEM/KAE teams on major claim prep & quantification. Increase transparency in global divisions through coordination of the local sales team. Report key statistics to AP management regularly.
- Pricing: Manages & track pricing budget & approval process in close alignment with sales teams & div. management for the region.
- Commercial Best Practice: Responsible for implementation of general commercial best practice tools, processes & methods. Acts in close cooperation with div. & corporate teams to implement & anchor Commercial Excellence initiatives in the region & group-wide.
- Digitalisation: Engages with central functions on development & advancement of Digital commercial systems, processes & tools.
- Planning: Support Target Setting and OP Sales Planning for AP Region.
- Sales Academy: Collaboration with sales academy in AP as well as global training instructor activities.
- Assignment on ad hoc special projects where necessary.
Your Profile as Sr. Commercial Manager:
- Collaborative and decision oriented (interacting with several internal stakeholders, prioritizing activities) across a variety of functions within region.
- Liaison with Division & Corporate as required.
- Problem-solving- & organization skills
- Strong analytical skills (driving analysis, deriving “insights”, making recommendations)
- Leadership and communication skills (cross countries, influencing, intercultural)
- Strong global network throughout all divisions, regions & central sales organization.
- Commercial management experience
