Software Test Engineer

About the Team

This position is part of the ZF ADAS & HPC business unit known internally as "Capri." This business unit is planned for divestiture to Harman International, a Samsung company and global innovator in automotive technology, presenting a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter in the ADAS space.

What you can look forward to as Software Test Engineer:

• Set up and maintain test benches, including power supply, communication buses, harness connections, sensors, and configure necessary test environments and test tools
• Perform functional testing for base software (drivers, BSP, communication, diagnostic, programming, middleware, etc.), record results, and maintain documentation.
• Assist developers and hardware engineers in reproducing and analyzing issues.
• Support software flashing, updates, and configuration.
• Support minor PCB modifications, soldering, wiring.
• Perform additional assigned tasks.

Your Profile as Software Test Engineer:

• Associate/bachelor degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of software testing processes and methods.
• Experience of test environment build up with different tools
• Strong hands-on skills (soldering, wiring, PCB modifications, etc).
• Able to use oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, etc.
• Basic Linux command-line skills.
• Responsible, fast-learner, team-oriented.
