Software & Diagnosis Engineer

We are looking for a new colleague in Division P at our location in Shanghai.

 

Your Tasks

  • To work with internal departments and OEM´s on software development for 8-speed, 9-speed and PHEV applications.
  • To execute all software and electronic activities including adapting, modifying, optimizing and testing of software and electronic components of the transmission for different projects; To follow the guidelines and specifications established by division R&D.
  • To analyze customer requirements in software & electronic system or even detect possible difficulties early in the application process; Calibration of different functions like error handler, shift by wire, signal processing and etc. within the scope of the project.
  • To do testing and documentation of new functions in vehicles and/or testing labs; To do Implementing and testing of functional safety requirements in vehicles and/or test labs.
  • To create of status reports and definition of corresponding countermeasures in the development; Participation in meetings and testing events in China and abroad with the OEM´s.

 

Your profile

  • Master degree in Engineering / Automotive / Electrical Engineering
  • 2 years engineering experience in SW development ; Calibration tool knowledge (e.g. INCA or CANape) is an asset
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written in English, German is one plus; Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Must be able to work in a team setting and participate actively; Must be available to travel and stay at various main locations
  • Willingness for business travel within China and abroad (e.g. Germany)
