In the role of “Application Engineer”, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies to grow the platform as a real product together with us and help to drive the architecture, implementation of best practices and the design of our microservices landscape for a fully connected future.

Your tasks:

• Creation of simulations to predict the performance and reliability of products , including but not limited to Structural performance,                   Stress, Strain , Fatigue and Creep.
• Thermal performance / heat transfer , transient thermal analysis including fluid based convective cooling if required’
• Life /reliability modelling , typically solder joint fatigue performance of PCB’s – Knowledge of ‘Sherlock’ would be an advantage but not          essential , training would be given.
• Communication and interpretation of results to the larger team along with suggestions for product improvements where appropriate.
• Use of ANSYS mechanical workbench and other supporting physics filters including , Computational fluid dynamics CFD (FLUENT /ICEPAK).


Your profile:

• 3+ years simulation experience.
• 3+ years working experience in the automotive industry or experience related to safety critical designs.
• 3+years experience of utilizing Ansys(preferred) , experience with other toolsets would be considered
• Oral and written English for working level,CET6 is preferred.
• Self management and self motivation.
