Senior SQE - PCB & Passive Electronics

About The Team

We are looking for a new colleague Supplier Development Engineer to directly report to the AP SDE Manager for EM Cluster and applicable PLs of Division C at our location of Shanghai, China.

What you can look forward to as Senior SQE - PCB & Passive Electronics:

• Work with purchasing and core team to select and develop suppliers through regular assessments and audits, planning meetings, APQP /VDA tools and supplier & plant visits.
• Execute supplier project management on-time deliverables with cross functional team by creating master plans and KPIs based on project tracking, risk analysis, timely communication, leading or working within task force teams.
• Technical leading of cross-functional team for ECU/EPP, including but not limited to assessment of process know-how of new and existing suppliers, technology workshop and problem solving at suppliers.
• Lead preparation of decision templates and presentations/reports for the steering committee and hot suppliers/issues including escalation recommendations and actions tracking.
• Manage Chassis Electronics key projects as Program SQE, share project information, check each components status and report to cross function team as needed.

Your Profile as Senior SQE - PCB & Passive Electronics:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field (e.g. Mechanical or Industrial) with technical background.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in SDE/ Advanced SQE and/or Quality experience in Auto industry, with proficient knowledge of quality standards/tools such as IATF16949, VDA6.3, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D problem solving techniques.
• Assessment of supplier manufacturing process know-how within the scope of Supplier Readiness Process through feasibility studies and APQP.
• Excellent personal and interpersonal skills such as proactive communication, presentation, priority management, team work, comprehensive thinking, high flexibility and strong independency.
• Fluent English skills both orally and written for global communication needs.
