About the Team

This position is part of the ZF ADAS & HPC business unit known internally as "Capri." This business unit is planned for divestiture to Harman International, a Samsung company and global innovator in automotive technology, presenting a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter in the ADAS space.

 

What you can look forward to as Senior Hardware Engineer - SOC:

  • Utilize engineering disciplines including Six Sigma, DFMEA, DFM/DFA to develop robust design solutions.
  • Generate concise and effective analyses, reports and presentations for both internal and customers focused discussions and reviews.
  • Participate in customer/supplier reviews and discussions.
  • Analysis of sensor/ECU and system performance.
  • Develop system/component test specifications/plans and processes, including DV/PV.
  • Lead/support the design and development of hardware schematics, BOMs & layouts and lead/support the documentations of WCCA, HSIS/ICD, FuSa and other requested specifications.
  • Lead/support supplier discussions and prototypes build.
  • Develop test instrumentation and/or support hardware and generate project timelines and execute plan to established milestones.

 

Your Profile as Senior Hardware Engineer - SOC:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or related field required.
  • 3+ years of Automotive electronic engineering and design experience.
  • Solid experience of analog & digital circuit design.
  • Professional on design tools like Mentor Graphics Dxdesigner and Expedition.
  • Experience of high speed signal circuits design and simulation (Hyperlynx), including PCB stack-up design.
  • Design experience of signal Protocols like Ethernet, FlexRay, SPI, MIPI.
  • Good at circuit analysis like WCA, current draw, PI and SI. And experience of simulations like SIMetrix.
  • Knowledge of function safety and quality process like HSE, SPM, FMEA, 8D and FTA and knowledge of validation specifications like Cisper, ISO.
