Senior Freight Management Specialist

About the Team

This role will ask to support manager for all domestics transportation and freight related operations and service level improvement. 
 

What you can look forward to as Senior Freight Management Specialist:

• Daily Domestic Transportation Management, Closely monitor daily pickup time status to ensure goods been pickup on time for each WH. Monitor each outbound shipment, ensure TMS completeness and accuracy, any irregular case, notice related departments in advance. 
• Dealing with all freight related complaints, such as damage, delay and wrong delivery. Work with vendor or insurance company or internal department for investigation and problem solving. 
• To manage the performance of freight service providers by monthly KPI reports and regular meeting, work with vendor on service level improvement or corrective actions.
• Working on transportation related analyze reporting by power BI, ensure data accuracy/ transparency.  
• Manage and Upgrade TMS: Coordinate with internal department for related process and work with IT company to design and implement system upgrade. To ensure system meet customer’s demand, help to improve transparency, efficiency and accuracy. 
• Conduct training to truck company, work with forwarder/ truck company for quality improvement.
• Interface with freight purchasing department, request for quotation. Ensure all lanes price is ready for use. 
• Billing check and PA preparation according to Finance requirement.

Your Profile asSenior Freight Management Specialist:

• At least 5 years relevant experience in transportation / forwarding / logistics in a multi-national environment
• Knowledge and experience on TMS system design & implementation. 
• Good command of MS office (Excel, Word, Power BI and PowerPoint ) Strong ability of data collection and analysis.
• Good communication ability, easy to get along with all related department, willing to share and support.
• Must have strong process orientation, data analysis and processing skills. 
• Deep understating of China land freight market.
• Initiative, accountable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment with good team spirits
• Sensitive of cost
