Sales Supervisor

We are looking for a new colleague Sales Supervisor for our Division E at our location of Shanghai

 

Your Tasks:

  • Collect market information and conduct necessary potential evaluation of the Chinese automotive market to identify possible potential customers for ZF and prioritize potential customers/projects if necessary.
  • Tracking of competition activities to collect inputs for competition analysis and other market strategic activities of P global/regional Sales. Follow customer’s strategic planning closely and collect necessary RFQs and potential project information regularly to guarantee ZF’s business extension in Chinese Market. Responsible for acquisitions of powertrain products in Chinese Market in coordination with other related departments. Preparation, coordination and conduction of project acquisitions according to CQA process, prepare indications/quotations according to internal decisions and existing procedure.
  • Keep communication with customers& and internal departments to guarantee the smoothly running of potential/new projects.
  • Organization& Participation on internal and external meetings during acquisition phase as interface to representative to customer. Negotiation and monitoring of product price/one-time costs with customers to ensure business wins. Responsible for contract negotiation and payment tracking. Support& participation with customer/project information in the ZF internal planning processes and strategy planning process. Support other department for the handling of customer claims.
  • Establish relationship with existing and potential customers and improve customer satisfaction continuously. Support new powertrain product launch to Chinese OEM with all necessary acquisition activities. Establish internal and external networking. Other Sales/Market activities.

 

Your Profile:

  • Possess all hard skills to manage B2B Sales of complex systems in the Chinese automotive market. Strong Hunting and farming Sales capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills. Able to create relationships with customers at junior and senior level.
  • Open, trustworthy, and empathetic. Looking for challenges. Proactive in problem solving. Precise and accurate in tasks completion and follow-up of pending issues. Able to be stable and productive under pressure and adverse conditions.
  • Capable to work in a team, supporting and implementing team’s decision. Willing to compromise as individual when there is conflict between interests of the individual and those of the organization.
  • Available to travel in China at least 30% of his/her time. Available to business trips to abroad as necessary (product trainings and business discussions)
