About The Team

ZF Test Systems develops and produces test benches for on- and off-road mobility for more than 35 years. We are looking for a new colleague Sales Manager - Test Systems in the Division Industrial Technology at our location of Shanghai, China.

What you can look forward to as Sales Manager - Test Systems:

  • Main Objectives - Actively driving and managing the sales and project management process for China customers with good skills in the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Working in close cooperation with the ZF sales/engineering team in the HQ in Germany as the key technical advisor and product advocate for complex automated test equipment, measurement tools and drive systems.
  • Be responsible for sales and project management for ZF Test Systems. Be responsible for new customer development, relationship building and maintaining, regular customer care, and contact. Be responsible for developing and delivering product demonstrations. Be responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events, such as conferences and seminars. On time respond to the functional and technical elements of RFQ´s, quotations, and specifications. In charge of conveying customer requirements to domestic and overseas product management and teams.
  • Customer and market analysis. 

Your Profile as Sales Manager - Test Systems:

  • Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in sales for automation and drives, and knowledge of technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFQs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • Engineering degree in electrical engineering, test equipment, or mechatronics. Experienced in soft- and hardware for electric drive systems and sensor applications. Min. 5 years in project management/sales for a test equipment and measurement tools company or related in the China market, knows local clients and has a certain network. Having powertrain test bench sales experience in the auto parts market will be preferred.
  • English & Mandarin Fluent, Germany not required, would be a plus. Skilled in MS Office programs.
  • Active in communication, building of internal and external networks.
  • Ability to work under little supervision. Reliability of task completion and follow-up of pending issues.
