Sales Manager Motorsports and Special Series

Position Purpose

Establish the regional customer growth strategy and product roadmap to drive the profitable growth of the product line sales in AP region.

 

Major Responsibility

  • Analyze the market intelligence to drive the competitiveness improvement in the regional ZF Race product strategy. – 10%
  • Buildup a very good relationship with Chinese motorsports market players – 20%
  • Discuss ZF Race projects from the very early beginning up to the work of the product inside the (race) car/bike with the customers – 30%
  • Be the window person between customer and ZF Race after getting the order – 30%
  • Support localization of R&D and local manufacturing of ZF Race products – 10%

 

Key Competency

Knowledge

  • Marketing and sales knowhow (the person has to build up a new business for ZF Race; travelling will be necessary,  he/she should like to contact and support customers and should work with a high self-motivation and self-organization – every time thinking how to earn money for the company)
  • Technical understanding (person has to have a basic technical knowledge – product details will be trained by ZF Race)
  • Solid understanding and network with Chinese motorsports (motorsports is a special area – the surrounding field needs a different feeling and knowledge – otherwise it is not easy to have success)

Education & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in business or related.

Experience:   5 years or above solid experience in business function.
Automotive, especially motorsports industry experience preferred.

Language: Fluent oral and written English.

Computer: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
