SDE Supervisor

About the Team

We are looking for new colleagues who will join our team at our location Shanghai.

What you can look forward to as SDE Supervisor

• Lead initiatives to assess and enhance supplier capabilities in alignment with the company’s current and future business needs
• Focus on enabling and uplifting suppliers rather than merely evaluating compliance or disqualifying them. Act as a strategic partner to drive continuous improvement
• Identify and develop key suppliers based on business priorities, supporting the introduction of new technologies and innovation
• Provide technical and managerial input in supplier selection, onboarding, and phase-out processes to ensure alignment with long-term company goals
• Work closely with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management teams to ensure supplier performance throughout all project phases
• Engage early in product development to help suppliers understand technical requirements and proactively prepare resources
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement preventive and corrective actions to ensure supplier stability in quality, delivery, and compliance
• Lead and develop the SDE team, enhancing their skills in technical evaluation, communication, and project management

Your Profile as SDE Supervisor

• Bachelor or higher education, Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, such as: machining/assembly/welding/heat treatment and so on
• Familiar with quality system such as ISO/IATF 16949
• Expert of quality management tools such as APQP; FMEA; MSA ;SPC ;PPAP
• Min 10 years supplier management experience in Auto
• Lean manufacturing techniques, problem-solving skills, continuous improvement skills
• Team Leadership, good interpersonal skills
• English: Fluent in oral and written.Flexible for extensive travels
