Prototype Application Engineer

We are looking for a new colleague in R&D Center at our location in Jiading, Shanghai.

Your tasks:

• Cooperate with production purchasing team and DV design team to search for new supplier or new capability development.
• Receive and classify prototype orders from internal and external customer
• Calculate prototype build cost, set prototype milestone and provide NRE by analyzing the feasibility of budget and prototype resource checking
• Review BOM list and check stock for new components procurement plan by lead activities from supplier sourcing, nomination, manufacture tracking and delivery with Q.T.C controlled
• Incoming parts acceptance and arrange incoming or delivery inspection 
• Dynamically schedule prototype build BKB, coordinate internal / external resource and track the completeness of each prototype order to meet Q.T.C requirements
• Support project open issue investigation by provide prototype activity 
• Communicate by mail and meeting with domestic and international supplier and global ZF R&D team.
• Report general project prototype statement, escalate critical issue and provide fix proposal

Your profile:

• Master degree of mechanical and electro-mechanical
• Fluent verbal and written English for global communication
• At least 3 years experience on automobile industry or lab
• Well communication, organization skill and team-leadership. Be passion and take pressure in the working.
• Work as prototype engineer, EPM, launch engineer, NPI, project purchasing roles is preferred
• Work as team leader, supervisor is a plus
• With 6-sigma, Red-X and PMP certification is a plus
• Willing to travel (domestic and international).
