About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in quality team in Caohejing, Shanghai. 

What you can look forward to as a Project SQE:

• Acting as an interface between APQP SDE and other departments (purchasing, development, quality, etc).
• Tracking, documenting and presenting of project progress within project core teams as well as on various management levels.
• Overall project management for sourcing projects within AP to achieve maturity level of purchased parts while ensuring the project will be completed on time.
• Evaluation of risk analysis.
• Potential support other projects within the organization.
• Escalation to the steering committee for project-related topics and the definition and tracking of appropriate measures.
• Leading of supplier escalations during APQP, Safe Launch and Serial Production to improve supplier performance.

Your Profile as Project SQE:

• Bachelor degree or above education level in mechanical engineering, i.e. in the field of production manufacturing / production engineering, material engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Around 5 years experience in the field of quality, purchasing, development, manufacturing, preferably in automotive applications.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written). Further languages in particular German would be an advantage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project. Etc.).
• Solid knowledge of relevant tools like APQP, PPAP, VDA6.3, TS16949, SPC and further quality tools would be an advantage.
• Willingness for frequent business travels inside and outside China.
• Expeienced in project management.
• Strong communicator, high ability to work in team and under pressure, comprehensive thinking and acting, flexibility.
