Project Manager - Test Systems

About The Team

We are looking for a Project Engineer/Manager for Test Equipment and Measurement Solutions in the vehicle manufacturing market at our location of Shanghai, China.

What you can look forward as Project Manager - Test Systems:

• Project Planning & Execution: Formulate detailed project implementation plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestone settings, to ensure the smooth progress of projects within the scheduled period.
• Communication & Coordination: Act as the key contact to communicate efficiently with internal teams (design, production, Quality) and external partners (suppliers, clients), providing timely project updates and resolving coordination issues.
• Progress Monitoring & Control: Track project implementation progress, analyze variances between actual and planned schedules, and propose effective adjustment solutions to keep projects on track.
• Document Management: Compile and organize project-related documents, including technical specifications, project reports, change requests, and meeting minutes, ensuring document accuracy and completeness.
• Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot technical and operational issues during project execution, collaborate with relevant teams to develop corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
• Documentation & Handover: Prepare project closure reports, conduct project reviews, and facilitate smooth project handover to maintenance or operation teams.

Your Profile as Project Manager - Test Systems:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering fields.
• Work Experience: 1-3 years of relevant project engineering experience in the [automotive/electronics/manufacturing] industry is preferred. Fresh graduates with outstanding academic performance will also be considered.
• Professional Skills: Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Excel) and CAD/CAE software is a plus. Familiar with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile) and quality management systems (ISO 9001).Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical drawing reading, and basic manufacturing processes. PMP certification is preferred, fluent in English listening, speaking, and writing. Can accept moderate business trips.
• Core Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and decision-making ability, capable of working under pressure. Meticulous and careful work attitude, with good organizational skills and attention to detail. Team player with a proactive mindset and strong sense of responsibility.
