Project Manager

We are looking for a new colleague of Project Manager for our division E at our location of Shanghai.

 

Key Target: Managing pre-SOP projects (Time, Spec, Budget, Quality) until gate A8 and/ or post-SOP projects

 

Your Tasks:

  • Lead projects with a certain complexity (scaling – will determine “size” of role)
  • Lead (interdisciplinary) project teams and ensuring their effectiveness and development
  • Management of all internal & and external stakeholders of the project (internal & external customer, supplier, partners and departments)
  • Manage all relevant internal and external project communication
  • Organize and prepare for meetings, gate reviews, decisions
  • Preparation of defined project reporting and management of project KPIs to target
  • Managing the project scope, time, budget, contracting and quality according to relevant standards (e.g. GDPEP, DG 05/11, DG 17/01), processes and methods
  • Delivers the business case/ profitability
  • Elaborate a project plan in alignment with the strategic goals and perform cross-department planning for all functions involved to meet the project targets and requirements
  • Managing risks, resolving problems and issues and managing baseline changes
  • Reporting and escalation to decision makers
  • Secure and negotiate team resources incl. team assignments, skill & experience requirements and provide performance feedback and development needs. Has the right to veto team nominations and changes to the project team
  • Decision right on all project matters within the defined project scope and released budget.

 

Your profile:

  • Ability to lead and motivate others
  • Familiar with international project management methodologies (i.e., agile)
  • Knowledge of project-planning tools
  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations and interacting with senior leadership
  • Distinctive business, IT, financial and communication skills
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Good understanding of technologies to drive (digital) businesses
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a project & resource plan, incl. baseline change management
  • Intercultural working experience
  • Organizational Change Management
