Main responsibilities:
A. Product Portfolio Management
- Define new-to-range program (in line with global product strategy), via gap analysis and market feedback, to be developed for respective region(s).
- Manage product life cycle, including range extension, supersession and termination.
- Implement product development process, lead and monitor NPI activities to ensure KPI targets are achieved.
- Track and enhance NPI sales effectiveness.
- Define product specifications, including packaging, label, appearance, inserts, etc.
- Monitor customer requirements and competitor moves.
- Carry out product benchmarking against market competition.
- Maintain product-related data into Product Information Management System.
- Assist in product information maintenance in ERP system.
- Process enquiries from internal customers relating to respective product lines. Liaise with other departments where necessary to ensure fast response.
- Support special projects, including coordination with cross-functional/ cross-regional teams and timely execution of resulting activities.
- Work on customer/product claims in cooperation with Quality and Technical.
- Create monthly report data pertaining to NPI tracking and relevant ongoing activities.

B. Marketing and Communication
- Collaborate with Sales, Commercial excellence, Marketing to support profitable sales growth
- Collaborate with purchasing team to optimize product costs.
- Collaborate with Engineering team to timely deliver NPI /resource program.
- Carry out customer visits to obtain necessary market knowledge.
- Communicate with data team to improve product coverage and product cataloguing system.
- Prepare regular communication of new part number release(s) to data team for newsletter publications.
- Communicate with marketing team to develop marketing communication tools, including leaflets, poster, demo-kits, videos when necessary
- Deliver training to channel marketing team and sales on product unique selling points, benefits and advantages compared with competitors.

Competencies & know-how:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Major in business administration, marketing, automotive relevant will be a plus.
- 3 to 5 years working experience, automotive industry is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with automotive applications will be advantageous.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Good skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word and Powerpoint,PowerBI).
- Takes initiative and is result-oriented.
- Fast learner and able to work under pressure.
- Good team player, positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- To be versatile and able to embrace change, and willing to accept new tasks as and when required to support the team.
- Experience in product/project management or automotive field preferred.
