Product Engineer - Reman

About The Team

We are looking for a new colleague Product Engineer for our Reman Product Line, Division Aftermarket located in Linggang, Pudong District, Shanghai, China.

What you can look forward to as Product Engineer - Reman:

• Lead APAC remanufactured product development, including disassembly processes, assembly procedures, process planning, drawing reviews, sample measurements, test validation, process confirmation, and mass‑production release.
• Prepare, issue, and archive technical documents in accordance with ZF standards. Execute PEDA documentation and product release processes in the PIMS system.
• Ensure all products meet ZF technical standards, regulatory requirements, and APAC market needs. Track and drive closure of issues identified during design reviews.
• Review and approve Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and supplier drawing modifications.
• Monitor corrective actions and support continuous improvement activities. Track project status and provide regular updates to the project team.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support for Sales, Quality, Purchasing, and Production teams.
• Support Europe-based synchronized product development projects.
• Participate in supplier process audits and improvement initiatives. Ensure supplier compliance with engineering and quality requirements.

Your Profile as Product Engineer - Remain:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. 2–3 years of experience in engineering, process, quality, or product development (preferred).
• Automotive engineering background, Knowledge of remanufacturing processes
• Experience in the remanufacturing industry, understanding of component remanufacturing processes and product characteristics.
• Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and using measurement tools.
• Experience with PFMEA, design reviews, and process improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong documentation and data‑analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally. Team‑oriented, proactive, and responsible.
