Product Engineer - Off Highway

In the field of off-highway machinery, including agriculture machinery, construction machinery, and material handling machinery, ZF is one of the technology and innovation leaders worldwide. We have developed and manufactured driveline systems and axles for off highway machinery for more than 60 years now and equip a wide range of off-highway vehicles with state-of-the-art axle and driveline technology. Our developers' focus is on reducing consumption and emissions, increasing productivity, driving comfort and safety as well as increasing the ease of operation, and reducing noise. As a systems supplier, we concentrate on the drive as a whole and combine axles and transmissions with advanced software functions. Now, our AP headquarters R&D Team is looking for a new colleague, a Product Engineer for Off-Highway products development at our location in Songjiang, Shanghai.

What you can look forward to as a Product Engineer Off-Highway:

• Support Sales and Application departments on technical support to local OEMs.
• Design new products and new applications with the support of CAD and PLM systems, delivering technical documents as 3D models, 2D drawings, BoM, and other related documents.
• Design change and deviation request approval management.
• Cooperate with the materials management department to select suitable local suppliers and realize successful component localization.
• Built up a simulation platform to simulate complex electric propulsion systems if required.
• Matching of simulation with testbench results.
• Technical support on supplier quality improvement and field problem solving.

Your profile as a Product Engineer Off-Highway:

• Bachelor or higher degree on Mechanical Engineering or Electronics or Mechatronics.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese. German a plus but not mandatory. 
• 2 or more years’ experience on vehicle driveline systems is preferred.
• Good understanding of complete driveline systems.
• Good knowledge about numeric simulation and software tools (matlab Simulink, Rational Doors, MS-Office).
• Be creative and interested in technical works.
• Teamwork spirit, Good Communication Skills.
