Product Compliance, Packaging and Labeling Regional Coordinator APAC

About The Team

We are looking for a new colleague as Regional Coordinator for our team Product Compliance, Packaging and Labeling APAC for our Aftermarket Division at our location of Shanghai, China.

What you can look forward to as APAC Regional Coordinator:

• Main Role Target: This coordination role will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet regional all BLs requirements, standards, and regulations. This role involves managing projects, driving change management initiatives, and coordinating with various functions to customize packaging and labeling per regional business needs.
• Detail tasks: Project Management: Coordinate and align with global teams for compliance management of products, packaging, and labeling in new product development for APAC regional projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project targets. Change Management: Support the implementation of change management processes related to products to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new packaging, labeling, and compliance standards. Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with different departments (e.g., Eng R&D, Purchasing, Marketing, Customs and Export Control) to ensure the products, labels and packaging meet regulatory requirements and business objectives. Regional Customization: Adapt packaging and labeling strategies to align with regional automotive standards and regulations, consultancy and maintaining the standards and processes on regional level according to global.
• Product Compliance: Material Safety Data Sheet local creation support based on regional located suppliers, CADMS linkage to support execution, CCC, SIRIM and other APAC Certification local representation and contact with local authority in APAC in case of need. Continuously monitor and audit product compliance with regional standards and regulations. Address any non-compliance issues promptly. Regional registration on chemical agency and compliance representation for applicable authorities, support the local language documentation creation and translation, regional documentation upload support to domain data base.
• Packaging and Labeling: assessment on product sample or first incoming good inspection to create packaging according to standard and customized regional requirements, implementing the packaging BOM to SAP, contact and support on regional suppliers of the packaging/ labeling to collect applicable data on materials, costs to indicate into the relevant systems, ensure proper integration of data.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and prepare regular reports on product compliance , packaging and labeling including regional authorities and company systems; maintain the PowerBI reporting on given activities and data .
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to relevant teams on Packaging & Labeling, Compliance standards and requirements on best practices for Region. 

Your Profile as APAC Regional Coordinator:

• Skilled of Microsoft, ERP and Database related software operation. IT skills more than desired due to labeling operation.
• Has experiences in business process, system and data analysis with business application project implementation experience. Experienced (2 years or more) in product portfolio management in the Aftermarket automotive & non-automotive parts on areas for Packaging Labeling or/ and Product Compliance ( regulations/ Certification / homologation) in APAC, eventually supply chain, operations, quality, engineering or relevant function. Has solid knowledge on Product certification, type approval, packaging and labeling experience in automotive industry in APAC region.
• Experience in leading remote (project) teams in regards of different time zones and with global teams. Ability to work in a matrix organization. Demonstrated change management and standard optimalization ability.
• Excellent  leadership, communication, analytical and problem solving and coordination skills. Has entrepreneurial spirit, high commitment to navigate and resilience to go around roadblocks.
• Be fluent in English and Chinese language orally and in written.
