About the Team

This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.

What you can look forward to as Problem Solving Expert-PPAC:

• Drive and Manage analysis of PPAC issues. Drive and Manage Follow-up of PPAC problem solving activities to ensure effective resolution
• Monitor PPAC issues status. Interface with PPAC committee and safety representatives
• Identify operational, technical, or business problems and develop actionable solutions. Conduct root‑cause analysis using structured methods (5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto, etc.).
• Evaluate alternative solutions and assess potential risks or impacts. Implement improvements and monitor effectiveness through KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align on problem definitions and solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely. Use data to support decision‑making and validate outcomes with analytics expertise.
• Lead structured problem‑solving workshops (A3, DMAIC, PDCA). Monitor processes and identify inefficiencies or quality issues.
• Drive Lean or Six Sigma initiatives to achieve measurable improvements.
• Train teams in problem‑solving methodologies. Develop documentation, process maps, and improvement plans.

Your Profile as Problem Solving Expert-PPAC：

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Automotive, Military or Aerospace manufacturing experience
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and excellent decision making ability under uncertainty.
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable components and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel/Power BI/etc.).
• Strong communication skills for sharing insights and influencing decisions.
• Must be able to work well in a cross-functional environment
• Prefer ASQ CQE certification and/or demonstrated skillset
• Completes other duties as assigned
