We are looking for a new colleague of Electrical Engineer for our Division I - Test systems PL at our location of Shanghai, ZF Holdings.

Role Target

• To design and develop control system, the PLC software, electrical hardware design and commissioning of specific test benches according to customer SOR, which is synchronized, error-free, lean, standardized technologies, and with short setup time and lower maintenance levels.

• Be part of the engineering team and support engineering manager from technical aspect.

• Technical support for Sales, Project management, Service and/or other team.

Your Tasks

• Responsible for control system concept and architecture design, PLC software design and commissioning, electrical HW design (including BOM) and commissioning for test bench

• Fully responsible for checking all the inputs for software design including cycle diagram, hardware drawing, supplier’s specification, control architecture etc.

• Fully responsible for the software, hardware design and commissioning of third-party equipment or components

• Selection and verification of local electrical components (including clarification of acquisitions)

• Basic Know-How in fluid functions (cooling water, hydraulics and pneumatics)

• Proactive get to understand the electrical specifications/ protocols from customers.

• Designing with the best Safety and Ergonomic practices. Knowhow in local standards and governmental guidelines

• Managing design reviews internally/ with customer and sign meeting minutest properly

• Participate and be responsible for the internal project acceptance.

• Be part of the project team and responsible for electrical problem solving in the whole project process, to achieve the project final acceptance.

• Supplier management support (delivery on time, cost, quality…)

• Technical support for manufacture, installation, and debug on site.

• Closely work together with mechanical engineer to get the assigned machine reach customer SOR and industrial standard

• Other tasks as assigned

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related major.

• 3-5 years electrical engineering/design working experience, dimensioning of electrical hardware and good technical know-how in the field of automotive R&D testing or EOL testing, especially on new energy vehicle application area.

• EPLAN/Office/Axalant/SAP Knowledge and skills

• Rich experience and knowledge in PLC and control software (Siemens/Rockwell/Beckoff/...)

• Familiar with testing specification and standards (local standards non-CE/ CE) and cycle time robot, etc,.

• Good English skill both in oral and written. German is not required, would be a plus.

• Very good analytical skills, communication, and presentation skills, both written and oral Analytical problem-solving skills

• Have very good knowledge on customer’s specification and strongly design/process skill to meet or exceed targets.

• Good presentation and communication skills. Good teamwork with strong customer oriented. Open mind and effective communication with team members. Network to leading engineering suppliers and manufacturer.

• Pursue high quality standards and implement them, willingness to take challenges and responsibilities.

• Able to work with high independence, able to work under pressure and tight schedule.

• Willingness for business travel within China frequently and for longer term.
