Material Planner & Lean Engineer

About The Team

We are looking for a new colleague Supply Chain Management Lean Engineer for our Braking Product Line at our location of Anting, Shanghai. 

What you can look forward to as SCM Lean Engineer:

• Supply Chain Lean Improvement & Operational Excellence: Lead lean transformation projects to drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance. Utilize Lean Thinking, VSM, and Kaizen methodologies to identify waste and optimize processes. Implement standardized processes and lean systems such as Kanban and Pull Systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Customer Demand & Delivery Management: Coordinate order fulfillment and delivery performance between customers and internal teams. Support demand forecasting and proactively manage delivery risks. Drive OTD (On-Time Delivery) and customer delivery performance improvement initiatives.
• Material & Inventory Optimization: Lead inventory optimization projects to improve inventory turnover and reduce working capital. Establish safety stock and replenishment strategies to ensure supply continuity. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to mitigate inventory and material shortage risks.
• Planning & Production Operations Improvement: Analyze and optimize Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Production Planning processes. Support S&OP process enhancement and cross-functional collaboration. Improve production scheduling, capacity utilization, and supply chain resilience.
• Data Analytics & Digital Transformation: Develop KPI monitoring systems and visual management dashboards.Leverage Power BI, Excel, and analytics tools to generate business insights. Support digital transformation initiatives and identify improvement opportunities through data analysis.

Your Profile as SCM Lean Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines. Good academic performances with deep understanding on Lean or Supply Chain Management will be preferred. 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, Lean Management, or Continuous Improvement within the automotive industry.
• OEM/Tier 1 experience and participation in Lean Transformation, Supply Chain Excellence, or Operational Excellence projects are preferred.
• Good command of both English and Mandarin. Has Teamwork Spirit.
