About The Team

We are looking for a new colleague as AI Solution Deployment Engineer for our Plant in Anting, Shanghai, to provide customized AI soutions and applications for our brak product line plant in Anting, Shanghai, for our Division Chassis Solutions. 

What you can look forward to as Manufacturing Engineer - AI Solutions:

• Gather business requirements, analyze workflows, and translate operational needs into scalable AI solutions based on actual & long term business needs. 
• Identify, evaluate, and drive the implementation of high-value AI use cases across manufacturing, quality, engineering, and operations functions.
• Build, deploy, and maintain enterprise AI platforms, including Large Language Models (LLMs), knowledge bases, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Develop AI applications to support manufacturing operations, quality management, knowledge management, and business process optimization.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems such as SAP, MES, PLM, and QMS to enable seamless data connectivity and process automation.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including solution design, deployment, testing, validation, and production rollout.
• Provide user training, technical support, and continuous system optimization to ensure successful adoption and business value realization.
• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, driving AI capability development and digital transformation initiatives.

Your Profile as Manufacturing Engineer - AI Solutions:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Digitalization or Industrial Manufacturing Engineering 4.0, or a related field. 
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, RAG frameworks, and vector databases. Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud or on-premises deployment architectures. Has hands-on experience in Python development and software engineering practices. Passion for applying AI technologies to real-world manufacturing challenges.
• Has knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial applications; experience in automotive components or discrete manufacturing is highly preferred. Has experience with enterprise digitalization, Industry 4.0, or smart factory initiatives. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills. 
• Self-driven with strong project ownership and the ability to independently deliver end-to-end solutions from requirements gathering to implementation.  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment.
