Inverter Project Manager

About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in R&D Center at our location in Caohejing, Shanghai.

Your tasks:

• Manage range extender application / acquisition projects according to ZF processes to meet cost, timing, and scope targets. Manage project profitability.
• Conduct project meetings and management gate reviews. Coordinate functional activities and ensure matrix resource efficiencies to achieve project objectives. Matrix functions include Sales, Product Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Materials, and Finance
• Maintain comprehensive project reports including schedule and metrics status, open issues/actions, and change management summary.  Develop project gate review documentation in support of GDPEP process requirements.
• Continues improvement and Project government regarding of processes to ensure timely completion of projects. Lead multi-functional business project teams using a company-specific product launch process (GDPEP).

Your profile:

• Successful completion of studies in engineering, mechanic, or similar fields.
• Minimum 3 years of automotive business-related experience, with progressive responsibility in an engineering or operations environment with 3 years of Project Management experience.
• Demonstrated organizational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Ability to influence in a matrix management environment.
• Good knowledge of e-Drive and key components such as inverter, e-motor and reducer; with a strong technical and commercial understanding.
• Agile mindset and experience in Project and Process Management.
• Excellent English communication skills and willingness to travel, preferably German communication skills in addition.
