Development Process Engineer

Main Objectives:

Realizes various tasks for the area of development processes, including management of process requirements, design of the process framework within the architectural specifications, support in the planning, implementation and tracking of work packages.


Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring development processes readiness, support implementation, lead the process continuous improvement in development projects, including by:

  1. Management of process requirements from the various requirement sources, e.g. customer specifications, standards, and guidelines.
  2. Support in planning and tracking work packages for process development
  3. Design and improvement of applicable process flows as well as mechanisms for process controlling in cooperation with the process experts.
  4. Design of the process within the framework of the bracketing process and architectural specifications in compliance with norms and standards
  5. Clarification of the interfaces to other processes with the process architect
  6. Support of quality assurance tasks.
  7. Coordinating build-up QMS in local R&D team, including local WI/WS creation and release process,
  8. Responsible for QMS compliance for local R&D team, such as IATF16949 audit, and other process related topics.


Professional Skills:

  • Knowledge in system, hardware and/or software engineering
  • Good moderation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of process management
  • Knowledge of norms, standards and guidelines for development processes and quality management systems, e.g. IATF16949, ISO262626, AutomotiveSpice
  • IATF 16949 internal auditor
