Head of M&A, Asia-Pacific

Your Tasks

  • Lead development of M&A strategy, acquisition laneways and funnels according to the strategy of business development set for China and region AP.
  • Coordinate / Lead the acquisition, disposition, merger and co-operation activities in region AP.
  • Establish Feasibility Studies and Business Plans including the according financial analysis. Conduct target search, background information search, target company visit and make business proposal to management. Leverage the resource and input to support the deal progress.
  • Lead Due Diligence and valuation process, deal structuring, business case delivery, deal negotiations, regulatory approval and integration.
  • Plan, drive and execute the key strategic projects in collaboration with global M&A team and strategy team including recommendation of the location, coordination with government authorities, preparation of all documents required.
  • Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the key strategic projects.
  • Research & communicate latest Chinese policy, laws, rules, regulations being issued by Chinese government regarding foreign investment in China and liaise with global M&A team.

 

Your Profile

  • University or MBA.
  • 8+ years related working experience.
  • Familiarization of state/company laws and regulations on foreign investment in China.
  • Familiarization of automotive industry and Chinese OEMs.
  • Analytical skills (finance) & business perspective.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
