We are looking for new colleagues who will join our team at our location Shanghai.

Your tasks: 

• Responsible execution of relevant regional Customs activities in cooperation with the Global Customs Head and AP Supply Chain Head.

• Independent Development of regional operational principles and guidelines based on country/region specific legislation.

• Ensure compliant Customs procedures on regional and plant level by development, implementation and execution of internal control processes in coordination with the Customs Management Cross-function “Processes, Systems & Guidelines”.

• Process monitoring regarding Customs procedures, simplified/special procedures and Customs authorizations.

• Carry out internal Customs “Quick Checks” in the region in order to ensure “Customs Compliance”. Identify possible gaps to legal requirements. Develop and implement respective measures on AP and Plant level in the region. Ensure sustainability of implemented measures by using appropriate control processes.

Your profile：

• Leadership skills to manage multi locations, multi plant environment

• Language capability – both fluent in written and oral English

• Good communication skills to manage different level of staff

• Good analytical and logical skills as required for reporting

• Personality to earn respect from plants

• Analytical skills to map business processes related to Customs Management

• ERP experience with good know how on SAP/QAD/ORACLE

• High level of expertise in Customs laws and Customs management activities in an industrial group

• Strong analytical & intercultural communication skills, showing flexibility and teamwork

• Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in Customs procedures in an industrial environment, preferred in the Automotive Industry
