About The Team

We are looking for a Finance Controlling Manager for our Division Aftermarket at our AP region at our location in Shanghai.

What you can look forward as Finance Controlling Manager AP:

• Responsible for ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and effective cost control across the organization. The role supports strategic decision-making by providing insightful financial analysis, safeguarding compliance, and driving financial performance through planning, forecasting, and business partnering.
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead annual planning, monthly forecasting, and long-term financial planning(IP) processes. Analyze financial performance versus OP/forecast and provide variance explanations. Deliver actionable insights to senior management for decision-making. Support business cases, investment appraisals, and profitability analysis. Leading the Sold to and Sold from analysis.
• Financial Controlling & Reporting: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of monthly/quarterly financial reporting. Oversee closing processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/local GAAP). Monitor internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies. Coordinate internal and external audits
• Cost Control & Performance Management: Drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives across departments. Monitor operating expenses, CAPEX, and working capital. Establish cost tracking mechanisms and identify savings opportunities.
• Process Improvement & Systems. Improve financial processes, automation, and reporting efficiency. Lead implementation or enhancement of financial systems/tools (ERP, Power BI tools).

Your Profile as Finance Controlling Manager AP:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred). Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Excel, experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
• 7–10+ years of experience in finance controlling, FP&A, or similar roles. Experience in multinational / matrix organizations is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strategic thinking and business acumen.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong Leadership and team management capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence and challenge business decisions constructively.
